Destined to Live in a Sea of Blue

Sitting atop the table at the prenatal clinic last week...I have to admit, I was not so very surprised to see that the wee little munchkin that has enjoyed my cravings for rocky road ice-cream and Taco Bell....was not shy at all about showing the world what he is working with....

Oh yes....my status as the minority in the house is now completely and totally secure...with the impending birth of my second son....Buggie! (Can you tell we haven't discussed names yet?)

There are some definite pluses to having my second child be another rambuncious...bouncy, bubbly, baby boy....namely I already know how to duck rogue pee streams...

and I'm not too above taking a wee bite of a homemade mud pie.....

and now that the proof is in the pudding....or the pecker....Juice can now see the thought process behind keeping a good 2/3 of Noah's clothes....and it has nothing to do with me being a hoarder...or needing to go to group....

Now begins the all important job of finding THE perfect name for this little man-child....I'm digging names like Gabriel, Evan or Mason....while my husband keeps telling me we're naming him Keith.....(no offense to anyone named Keith...but no)...

Then comes the picking of bedding...and furniture....and paint colors....and all the other amazing, wonderful...fantastic things that come along with preparing for a baby....

Especially a Baby Boy...

Gotta love being the minority!

Yay! Congratulations on your baby BOY! I am struggling finding a name for my little man, due in June. Boys are so much harder to name than girls it seems. :)

Congrats on the boy-hope you find a name you both love!! We aren't finding out what we are having and I am down to just four more weeks and we haven't a name picked out for either gender..Names have to be so important don't they??

Congratulations! Boy names are tough. We don't know the gender yet, but for boys we're considering Archer, Flynn, and Felix (MacGyver likes Felix, I do not.).

If you want to discourage Keith, you all should watch Hoodwinked!

Evan was one of our names we had picked out. Hubby didn't like it but I LOVE that name. :D

Awww, congrats! I love boys and sometimes wish I had more (but then I remember I don't want any more children and I don't wish the girls were boys, so I just lay down until the feeling passes).

As for names, our system has worked well for us-we just agree that one of us will pick the first name and one of us will pick the middle name and leave it at that--that way each of us gets a name we like, even if we don't like the other one. I think it's worked out well-I love the kidlets' names.

Congrats again!

Oh..that is exciting! They will be bestest friends. And, Mason was on our list of boy names too. Never Keith. No...I would have to agree with you.

Have fun getting ready now that you know!! Congrats.

Congratulations! My dad's name is Keith and I still like your options more. Oh, naming babies is so much fun!

OH, Congratulations on your baby boy! How exciting!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. And let me tell you, I thought stripping and playing with/flinging/eating poop was a boy thing too. Guess that teaches me, huh?

I was the minority in our house for a long time as my first three babies were boys. But, I am happy to report that I am having our third girl in June. Now we are even! :0)
