Nursery Sneak Peek...

Meet Ralph! He belonged to the Hubster when he was a wee tot!

Poor Ryan...Here he is just celebrating his 2 week Birthday, and I STILL haven't gotten his nursery finished. It's getting there....If you checked out my previous post on those super adorable Birth Date Prints from Almost Sunday Designs, you know that I am working on it....

It is turning out to be one FABULOUSLY Baby Chic Nursery though....and done on one heck of a tight budget no less....Who knew the hubster and I could be Thrifty, Crafty and Design Savvy at the same time....To date we have spent a total of $175 on The Bugster's Super Hip Baby Pad.
Using Craigslist finds, like the amazing vintage dresser we scored for $50...(just needed a good sanding, paint and new hardware) and using pieces from our own childhoods....which were a) FREE and b) helped our parents declutter their attics and garages.....really allowed us to spend our money on other important items...like the Super Sweet Double stroller that I fell in love with.
Here is a sneak peek of how it's going.......The goal is, that once The Hubs comes home this week, we can knock this puppy out, and maybe, just Maybe it will be COOL enough to send to one of my guilty pleasures: Project Nursery. Wouldn't that just be the shiz-nit!

Ryan's Great Grandfather made these adorable toy cars

I LUV this adorable bedding and crib! A HUGE thank you again to Operation Homefront for donating all of it for us!

Fabulous Photo Designed on Picnik and Printed on Snapfish! With Frame cost a whopping $15

Adore this dresser. $50 on Craigslist, A new coat of paint, some funky hardware and Voila!!!

I love it! :) I especially love Ralph and the wooden toys that the great-grandfather made; what lovely additions for him to grow up among.
