The joys of being full swing into the second trimester of pregnancy. Morning sickness has abaded (for the most part), appetite has come back (with a vengence)....and FINALLY you begin to actually LOOK pregnant versus....just looking like you've put on a few extra pounds....
Now, you would think that this would be my time for that pregnancy glow, where I revel in the idea of finding cute maternity clothing....and letting my husband revel in my newly much more voluptous Boobage.....
well I am glowing....just with a tinge of GREEN.....
I had NO idea that there is a condition called Pregnant belly envy.....but there is. And what IS pregnant belly envy you ask? Well my always concerned, always supportive bloggy buddies... It is being envious of those women who have those perfect basketball bellies....who gain the recommended 20-30 lbs, in the recommended 40 week time frame...and from behind....you wouldn't have a clue they were carrying at all...
ME? I've at 18 weeks already gained 20 lbs.....my Butt could possibly be considered for it's own zipcode....and just the other day I was asked if I was due in the spring.....(it's July 15th).
I want that perfect airbrushed look.....instead of needing a an airbrushing....
Now, it hasn't lessened my enjoyment of entering my second trimester any.....just awakened me to a whole new condition I may need to go to group for....

Cute post! I agree. I am 19.5 weeks, due July 6 and feel the same way! Congrats!!!
Oh honey, I gained 50 with my first baby, 40 with my second (and was hanging on to 10 from the first yet)...my butt still needs a zip code. I bet you're beautiful, though.
LOL...so enjoyed your post! I remember the 2nd trimester well 3 times to be exact lol
I had gained 25lbs by week 22 after loosing 5 of my original weight in the first 4 weeks (lots of MS) and I just kept going - gained about 45 (yikes!) and I'm SHORT - to say I was needing an airbrush was an understatement - but oh how I made up for it by enjoying eating hahaha. Yay for extended breastfeeding to help take it off. :)
I know exactly how you feel. I just had my first and thinking of all the weight I gained makes me sick. Thank goodness for a vaginal birth and breastfeeding!! I don't even believe that half these celebrities don't have stretch marks...its just not possible.
Weeellll, I have to cringe at the ladies' bellies you picked. I surely wouldn't want to be the child of EITHER of them.
You, however, seem like an awesome mommy, pounds or no pounds. :D
Oh no, pregnant belly envy. When I was pregnant with B I took forever to start showing. I fear being pregnant the second time I would get huge, quick. Heck, before I was preggo with B I was so thin that at about 24 weeks I had the same amount of belly I have now, not pregnant. Don't worry, this too will pass. Just keeping growing that baby!
But no bodies bellies look that those magazine shots in real life. Those bellies are all special lighting angles and photoshopping to look like that. I bet your are beautiful!
Oh girl I could have written this!
With Noah I gained 45 pounds... and I'm on track to do the same if not more with this baby! I'm 33 weeks and have gained... (doing the math here)... about 35 lbs so far. This belly is much rounder and bigger than the first (which was just all around ha!), but I've also got tree trunks as legs now too! A lady in class asked me today if I only had 3 weeks left ... sigh.
You know they were airbrushed right? (At least I tell myself that!!)
As long as your doc is telling you that you're doing okay there is nothing to worry about! Not that that helps much, but being healthy is what's most important right?
Hey is that Britney Spears? naked and preggie? OMG She is still sexy!
Pregnancy Symptoms
Oh, yes! Demi's and Britney's pregnancies are really something to envy about 'coz their bumps seemed so firm and beautiful. And no stretch marks there. As for me, I wore maternity belts during my pregnancy to hide the belly and it added up some boost too. And so I felt good about it.
Every woman has right to dream of having a baby. Tubal Ligation Reversal allows a woman the ability to conceive naturally without any harm. Although tubal ligation is considered a permanent method of birth control,
